Human diversity program question.. HELP

bump Commn guys need some help.....

do you have a foreign human diversity teacher too? i think it's like a requirement. but yeah make sure you include all the bull shit like learn to not make judgments based on their appearance and that you shouldnt make stereotypes and such.

nah my teacher is some white fat guy... but i know all that stuff i just gotta get how my interactions with this person have any affect on my personality or moral judgement

people cannot help but have their personality changed by the people that they meet.  To say that the people we interact with daily don't have significant impact on our personailities and actions would be to deny psychologists nurture theory.

This whole question is so broad though, that you can elaborate in a million different ways.  I also don't understand if the teacher wants you to answer as if the question is being asked of you personally, or to a person in general.  If the question is being asked of you personally, just answer truthfully. 

If the question is being asked in general, well you could say, that yes, a persons moral judgements can easily be effected by interactions with other people, of course the extent depending on how impressionable the person is. An example would be someone who joins a gang.  Perhaps upon entering the gang they believed that stealing was wrong.  Why did they think stealing was wrong? Was it because they were taught that through interactions with their parental figures, or perhaps at school?  Given enough time, this person might began to feel that stealing is justified.  If someone else in the gang convinces them that you either steal to survive, or die.  They might feel that stealing from someone with far more money than them would be just, due to the fact that it is just a small dent in their wealth, but ensures the survival of someone else entirely.

If this circumstance, both the belief that "stealing is wrong" as well as "stealing is justified", were moral judgements that were altered by encounters with other people (first his/her parents, later by his/her fellow gang members)

another example would be soldiers, how their personalities and moral judgements change due to interactions with others in a war setting. 

If the question is about someone you might meet specifically.  You might say that yes, your personaility or moral judgement could be altered.   Perhaps you became friends with someone who is gay, and through hearing what things they have to deal with, as well as being a witness to them, you've come to have more sympathy for the homosexual community, and perhaps grown hatred or anger toward those who are intollerant or ignorant.  just an example.
