paste wax is great... but only from the front of the lodge to the bottem of the lift, cause its warn off by then. whats wrong with hotwaxing? you just must not know what you are doing at all to make skis slow. Im writing a step by step paper for english this week, i will put it up in the articals section for you to read.

look man, my skis aren't slow at all, I work in a ski shop. I was just wondering what effects it had, becausen it is faster to applay and to ski on (and on trip I don't have to brin the iron) that is why I was asking, but if you say it doesn't last, then forget it

if you work in a ski shop you should relize that that shit sucks ass. it retails at like 8 bucks, at has 'I'm perfect for Joeys' stamped right on it. Irons dont take up much space, and brick wax is not that big eather. as far as application goes, hot waxing takes less then 1/2 an hour.

^ My wife works at a ski shop and they have this silicon stuff you wipe on the bottoms, that shit is slick and quick. I must confess I haven't used it in place of waxing(cause waxing is free for me) it was used in addition to the wax. The difference was amazing.
