well, i was skiing down the mountain one day, and i saw some guy drinking a red bull, i slowly skied up to him, and i asked wat is that thing? is it beer? he gave me a sip. it was delicious. i introduced my self to him, and he did the same. his name was tanner hall. well, i asked if i could ski with him, he said, o yeah, sure, no problem. then when we get to the bottom of the mountain, and get onto the chairlift, i ask him how he found out about newschool skiing. he replied,
www.newschoolers.com, i said wat? theres a site with lots of skiers on it? just like me??? He said go check er out, peace bro, bless up.
I thought to myself, wow, he was really neat. i really want to learn the tricks he was doing on those fancy twin tip skis. ive always been interested in getting some, maybe now the time is right?
So after a day of trying to accomplish the same tricks he was on skis, i asked my daddy for a ride down to the local ski shop, sportcheck. while i was there, the employee was very helpful, i asked him every question i could think of, and he answered very nicely and in a calm matter, but he kept on referring to 4BI9. once again, like i did with tanner hall, i asked him, wats your name. he replied very caringly, tom wallisch. i wondered, why everytime he took a step, he tried to "walk away with steeze". he told me there was a website for people like me, for people that had no idea about twintips. about the newest styles, the newest products and such. once again, i asked what this site was called, he too replied
www.newschoolers.com, i asked him if he could write it on a piece of paper for me with his name on it.
i ended up selling that piece of paper on ebay for $638.51. apparantly, this guy was really "steezy".
I now had to find out about this so-called "steeze".
On my way home, after skiing, after stopping at the local ski shop, i noticed on the side of the road, a skier, with no poles and really fat skis. so i shouted at my dad, "stop the car!", well, it was actually a truck, but thats a whole other story. anyways, as i was saying, this skier, was jumping off a cliff, forward, and landing backwards, like half of a 360. it was amazing. i sat in the truck in awe.
I got out of the truck, and went up to him, and admired his skills. i also asked him what his name was. he replied, im eric pollard, i love painting. I was so amazed by his skiing skills i didnt even notice that he was painting at the top of the cliff, and at the bottom. I asked "where can i find out how to do such great moves like that sir?" and again, like tanner hall, like tom wallisch, he said
www.newschoolers,com,
Right after that, i jumped into the truck, and told my father to "floor it", because if these cool cats were using this website, i could too, and become just like them.
After ariving at home just a few minutes later, i immediatley ran to the door, kicked it wide open. my mom said "Oh hi son, how nice to see you!", i replied very quickly and angrily, "not now mom!" I ran up the stairs, each step seeming like it was taking forever, time slowed down, i rushed into the computer room, logged on, opened up the internet. and typed in this website that apparantly was more wise than george bush.
I waited, and waited. and when it finally loaded, it was like the gates of heaven were just opened up. I was not alone. there were other people that obsess about skiing, just like me, with up-to-date freeskiing news, free videos, pictures, and a forum that was neverending.
and here i am today, spending all my time and money into this site. i love it. i dont know what i would do without it. i would not be able to survive.
Sparknotes: I just stumpled upon it on google while searching for ski sites
