New to CO, I live in Denver. Better terrain is more important than the parks to me. Just wondering which would be better?

Colorado Pass
$449
The 2008/09 Colorado Pass is a season pass that is valid for unlimited, unrestricted skiing and riding at Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin, plus 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek.

Rockey Mountain Super Pass Plus
$439
The Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus is a product that allows unlimited skiing and snowboarding at both Winter Park/Mary Jane and Copper during the 08/09 ski season PLUS six unrestricted days at Steamboat (for pass holder only), and free skiing every Friday after 12:30pm at Steamboat.

Most people chose the colorado pass its a great deal, if you go to school in co and open a wells fargo account you can go 2 for 1 on the rocky mountain which is why people chose it and why i got both this year but id say go for the colorado pass

If you are a bump/trees skier, get the super pass, Winter Park kills it!

Otherwise, the colorado pass is better because the resorts are all so close whereas copper and winter park are 2 passes away and steamboat is like 4 passes away...\


Yes I did just give distances in number of passes because I am a native coloradoan...

I say get the colorado pass.

Even though i like Mary Jane, I personally think both Winter Park and Copper suck. WP was too flat and cat-walky, and copper is just so icy and full of goddamn people that it just wasn't worth it for me. Plus the speedwatcher dudes near the bottom were the most anal I've ever seen. Once you get away from the crowds and into the bowls and trees at copper it is pretty nice though.

Either way, A-basin to get some really early and late season riding, and the other resorts will cover the rest. Beaver creek and breck are supposed to have awesome terrain, and vail is massive.
