Full tilt or dalbello

Just looking into getting a new set of boots, i mainly ride bumps but do a fair bit of park skiing aswell, I am just wondering which boots people reccomend

i rocked dalbello last year and the year before didnt have many problems, but i just bought some full tilts for this year havent used em yet. Id say full tilts the better buy, you can change the tongue to get a good flex that you like, especially if you need different ones for bumps and park, and full tilts are wayyyyy lighter than dalbellos

Full Tilt's are much lighter, and have the intuition liner which I love.  Other than that, not many differences.  The buckles on the Dalbellos are a little more burly, but they're also heavier.  I'd go Full Tilt.

well i mean there is the whole foot volume thing and the others, but based off the fact the the full tilt is much more customizable, and at least a pound lighter a boot, i'd say full tilt is the way to go.  plus the intuition wrap around liner is the best liner in the business.

i heard the full tilt was dope, its expensive but they have a bunch of replaceable parts so they are supposed to last a very long time and worth the investment. i would get those if i needed a new pair of boots.

As always its how the boot fits you... I've been on dalbellos with intuitions for 2 seasons now, no problems, kickass boots. I have also skied the FT's and im too much of a fatass for the soft flex

Dalbellos are so damn heavy. They  messed my feet all up. Full Tilts are the best boots out right now hands down.

Full tilt boots don't have any unnecessary parts. They are plain and simple, light weight and work. The plastic buckles are fine, Mine have never broke. With the straps going all the way across the boots you don't get any pressure points from the buckles. You can change the stiffness of the tongue so when its real cold, pop a soft one in and your boots still feel really good. Having a tongue design like that helps the boot work. instead of being hinged like every other boot and flexing only in one spot creating another point of pressure,  the whole boot flexes properly.

never tried full tilt but i've been rocking dalbellos for years, so i think it's safe for me to say dalbello is reliable.

bought some dalbellos online, they came to my house and the second i picked them up, i just put them back in the box cause they were so damn heavy. i'm going to go with the full tilts for sure

i really love how all the mags knock on the full tilt boot for being too soft.  They are totally missing the point that you can literally have 5 different tongues for flex.  That means you can have a boot that flexes the same in any temperature, or that fits the kind of skiing you are doing with a bout a minute of effort.  i have two pairs of tongues and it covers all situations.  and as far as the plastic buckles go, i haven't broken mine yet, and they are really easy to get replacement parts for.  much easier than other brands that have constantly changing parts.  They don't need to change anything about this boot because it's perfect, unless you have super super wide feet.  the new liners do get rid of a lot of the narrow issues they had before.

boots are all about what fits you best..not anyone else. i think both boots are awesome, but the awesome one for you will be the one that fits! i suggest trying them both on and see what you think. its the only way to know.

side note, i have dalbello and i love them. but that is because they fit me amazingly and they are heat molded with custom insoles! but they are light and comfy! best boot i have ever had!

Thank you and well said. You should got to a bootfitter to find the best for you. then you'll be really rewarded. I don't have an opinion in this either because i've never worn full tilts but i have had a pair of dalbellos and loved them but seriously, don't look at my opinion. Go to a bootfitter

The Full Tilts are Lighter.  However the Dalbello's also technically use an Intuition Liner.  They call it an I.D. liner, but it was made by both  intuition and dalbello engineers together..basically an intuition liner.

i ride the first SPK, and i can never get em tight enough and i always find someway to get some shinbang

both super sick boots i would say whichever you feel more comfortable with. try them both on. don't say you want to work on one boot just to get it. it makes a huge difference when you get  a boot that works well to start off with and then just have to make minor tweaks. if you get a boot and have to pound and grind the shit out of it. it will never really work the best way. if any of that made sense.

i recommend you getting the boot that fits you best, and my guess would be full tilt because its heat moldable.

thanks for all the reviews on the boots written by people.. to everyone who has said buy the best fit I did state that I am willing to ave work done to the boots, money is not an issue when it comes to having comfortable feet whilst skiing

il moro.... these boots are scarily similar... i tried them both on (i knew i was getting one or the other) and the full tilt was a little to narrow for my foot, so i opted for the ill moro with the intuition (id) liner (same wrap around design)... the krypton series also has interchangable tounges and a very universal flex like the FT... both boots are banger and would be amazing, just go find which ones more comfy on your feet...

I think the Dalbello will PROBABLY perform a bit better overall, just might not have the progressive flex and comfort you might be looking for. From what I have gathered from talking to a LOT of people about boots is that the FT's are old technology. It works great for some people, and some people will never ski any other type of boot but that old flexon design. However, from a performance standpoint, the FT's aren't going to give you as much power to the ground as a lot of the newer designs. However, all that is a moot point if a boot doesn't fit you. Get what fits.

my personal advice to you. neither. go to a boot fitter, let them show you what they can do to each boot, as well as others in the store, and then you decide from there. too many kids riding boots they read about that dont fit right instead of having ones that actually fit them.

i still recommend the fulltilts because they are a simpler boot with amazing quality stuff, althoough im sure dalbello does too but i ersonally thought dalbello was way too stiff for my liking
