Cal v. Maryland- Best v. Barnes

you can't say it was best v. barnes because jahvid didnt have a chance to tee up and give him a blow, he had just caught the ball.

first of all that was a bullshit game played by cal and it's because they are not used to travelling all the way back east, where it is
a. 3 hours ahead of their time
b. 10x more humid than back home in berkely

If they were to play at memorial, cal would have torn maryland apart there's really no question

CLAIM back in high school we used to play jahvid best's school in 7 on 7 games over the summer and i had to guard him when they put him in the slot, and they put me 15 yards off because he's so god damn fast.

um, i don't give a shit about any of that. i just thought it was a pretty rad hit. as far as i'm concerned, both Cal and Maryland could fall off the map and i wouldn't miss 'em.

I think those are really poor excuses to win a game. Clearly, when teams from the west coast go to bowl games in the east and lose, they dont say its cause humidity and 3 hours ahead of time. As a player in any sport, it can affect you, but it can't affect you so much to be the reason for a loss. Just my .02 cents.


As for the game. Finally the ACC looks somewhat good. But were still terrible.

you do it and see how it takes its toll on you. traveling to an away team's house sucks already. imagine that but a 6 hour flight each direction, and in a whole different atmosphere than you are used to. it's not like they had been traveling all the way to the east already this was their first time in a long time.

i couldnt agree more. if you want to be successful you have to play in all conditions. good football teams win in all conditions, and they dont make excuses when they loose

All I'm saying is that Cal would have put their metaphorical dick in maryland's ass at home because they are that much better of a squad. they should not have lost that game.
