holy crap. i jumped right into playing it. so confusing. gotta do the tutorial...anyone got any tips?

oh and just to explain it a little. basically you try to infect everyone in the world with a disease, and see how fast and how many people you can kill. its actually pretty fun to play. ive played the first one, this second version is just a crazy remix of it tho.

DAMMIT!!! i started in indonesia and then i infected canada and west europe, but i fucked it up and all the airports closed n shit and my disease didnt spread anymore, it just killed all the canadians and europeans

anyone have any good strategies??

ive gotten it down to 3 places left. they werent infected at all tho. everyone else dead.


i try to start off with all transmition. then move to resistance. after that i just stack up on pts. eventually a lot of countries seem to recognize whats going on so i lay it all down then. prolly smarter to go slower tho

I beat it 100% once, it was hard, I just build up a powerful disease, and wait till I have a lot of points to buy all the transmission shit, that way it just overpowers everything very fast and they can't shut down airports/docks and boarders fast enough, then I just destroy everything.

you have to buy symptoms that kill people. 

I have pretty much killed everyone, except for madagascar, somehow no one got infected there.

yeah i did the same thing last night. i was on realistic and used a virus. i got it to be waterborn and took out as much visibility as i could while trying to keep some infectiousness. i put one in each of the cold/heat/water categories. from there i just let it sit. after a while more n more countries start to get infected, but because its such a low number and its not spreading fast, they dont notice. once countries start acting, i added airborn/rodent/insect and more water/heat/cold/drug. i stack up mad pts till countries start acting fast, and thats when i put the hammer down. add as many symptoms as i can towards infecting people. notice nothing on lethality yet. i will basically get the entire world infected before it starts killing people. it takes a while to get more pts, but just be patient/look on ns forums and when you get more pts add them to lethal things such as kidney failure, fever, and so on. read the descriptions/effects of the symptoms, they help a lot.

i tend to try change the disease a lot after they start making a cure so that hopefully it wont work. even if it does, the only country still alive is madagascar. adding more to the drug category makes it take them longer to get a vacine made, meaning more infected people. and after that just save up on more lethality things and everyone will soon die thats infected.

I only beat this game once (not THE GAME, but the game that is linked in this thread) i sell all symptoms until it spreads everywhere then i just get hemorrhaging.... works for me

It's pretty easy to kill most of the world, but there's always a few pesky countries that don't get infected.
