Replying to Itunes music store: pros and cons?

Do you use it, or do you prefer to buy actual CDs?

I hate how a song is "protected," even when I pay for it. I always used to use torrents and limewire, but itunes is so much easier. It's quick, has a great selection, and it's easy to discover new artists, and you don't have to buy the whole CD (most of the time I can't even find the CD in stores, because all the music stores around here have gone out of business).
