So I installed Final cut pro and I'm trying to open it and it says will not open and shit, because it needs an AGP graphics card...
I have a brand new Macbook Pro, so I'm thinking that It should have been fine and that it should have worked, but nooooo.
So does anyone know what I need to do or whatever. Help is greatly appreciated.

This comp is BRAND new so I wouldnt think I would need any updates.
The only reason why im not practically exploding is because I didn't pay for fincal cut., (my friend gave it to me.)

haha yea i had that problem when i first open final cut, took my two weeks to figure out, all you got to do is hit "esc" when that window comes up on your keyboard. the window will go away and the program will load.

yea it would have worked, i have final cut 4.5 as well. your problem is that its asking for an agi card which was the typical graphics card when 4.5 came out, but your trying to run it on a newer mac, which is not standardized with the PCI card, i doesn't realize this but it doesn't matter so hitting esc would have solved the problem, in retrospect this post really isn't necessary i just thought i would explain the problem.

just because you have a new macbook doesn't mean you wouldn't need to update. In fact when you install an outdated version of FCP you will probably have an ASS load of updates. That is probably your main problem. Where did you get the software from? That could be another. Another could be having to update your different Codec's and if you have leopard, i'm sure that has a problem with older software like FCP 4.5. We're on 6 these days.

Yeah, I did have to get several updates when I first turned y comp on. I got Fincal cut from my friend and I don't remember where he got it from.
