Replying to Best english assignment ever (Help Please!)

ok i got the nicest and easiest english teacher ever, and  our first project is to do a 2 - 4 minute presentation on something you already know about, anything you want (within reason) and i chose skiing (duh) and more specifically the culture that skiing has created and why people ski, so i was looking for ideas to talk about
 
what i already have:
1. gapers arent what skiing truely is (by the way how do you pronunce gaper, i dont want to say it like gay-per if thats not hows it's pronounced)
 
2. newschool skiing
 
3. the backyard setup/urban
 
4. ski movies
 
5. reasons people ski (like excercise, fun, the beauty of the mountains, cause its just plain awesome...)

any other ideas would be appreciated, and what order do you think makes the most sense?
