Is anyone else really upset to see the end of K2's PE ? I know I am! the ObSethed looks/sounds sick, so that's one consolation, but I'd love the PE to still be around, the K2 Extreme isn't doing it for me right now... I'll see if I can hit up some demo rides on it, but for me nothing's touching the PE...
Copy That, I've got a pair of ancient PE's that K2 just repaired under warranty (mad props to them for that), they're so slick to ski on, these things were made 05!
p.e. was probably the worst ski have ever ridden. i demoed them a few times because when i was younger it was the only twintip that was a demo and repeatedly a terrible ski. this ski is heavy and is dead. i dont mean just in the park either, they had no pop but all mountain they even suck. they dont spring you out of your turns at all and im a pretty big guy and the weight was a pain in the ass too me. it just was an all around shitty ski that really wasnt worth the weight.
Definitely lighter. It skis a lot more lively, more pop. It feels slightly softer, definitely more playful. I'd ski it as my 100% park ski over the Disorderly.
my review would have to be a little different, i thought they felt a little stiffer than the p.e. but it was weird in the way it felt stiffer. underfoot it feels really stiff and the tips are a little softer than the p.e. but definately more pop and not as dead.
