Alright NS. I have a paper due in a few days on the topic of something that is thought of as taboo, whether in our culture or another.  Help me out and give me some solid topic ideas pretty please.

Tattoos and piercings is a good one. Or clothing styles in general like sagging your pants and stuff and the stereotypes that come with them

those aren't taboo..."proscribed by society as improper or unacceptable"...much of society finds both to be acceptable and in many cases a proper lifestyle/action.

The biggest taboo, in just about every culture, is incest.

a guaranteed "A" would be too follow this Fritsel guy in Austria's case.  The guy who locked his daughter in the basement for 20 years and had kids with her.  Current events and the perfect taboo.  incestttt

yea Incest would be the perfect toppic. especially if you consider the definition of taboo:

A moral or cautionary restriction placed upon certain actions by authorities of a people, which if ignored will result in specific negative consequences.

Well there are a bunch of topics that are taboo, someone said incest (illegal and taboo) trangender issues, witch craft and Occult following. You can also think of taboo restricting or banning things, Drugs are considered on this list, as well as swearing/cursing, dietry restrictions such as not eating meat and so on. Hope this helps
