Replying to Cost of mounts?

So when you buy a new pair a of skis they always mount the bindings for free, right? But what happens when you just bring the stuff in to get mounted. I'm pretty tight with a shop in new hampshire that has given me a few free mounts in the last 3 years and one of them i paid 10 dollars for because the owners of the shop weren't there. So I just moved to burlington and I had my urb's mounted up for the 3rd time and they charged my 40 fucking bucks. Did the shop rip me or is this what mounts actually cost if you don't have connections?

Please post the cost of mounts in your area. I'm really interested to know how much they go for.
