i am wondering if it is possible to use someone elses upgrade with their consent on a phone if you are not eligible for one. i check the support section on thier website and coulnd't find anything. any help is appreciated

i used my dads upgrade to get my new phone like 2 months ago cause i wasnt eligible. so i know that it works if its someones upgrade thats on your plan. im not sure if you can if they are diff plans though.
