Ok guys heres the deal, the past couple of years I been going out west skiing but me going to college I can't afford it this year. So I decided to go more up north. I never been skiing in Vermont, Maine etc... so I really don't know where to go. I was thinking maybe Sunday River, Sugarbush,Smuggs, but I am open to anything. I want to ski somewhere that has a good park but also good all mountain too. My buddies and I are bringing our girlfriends so nice long groomers is a plus for them. So where would you go help me out.
Thanks

C'mon the guy has never been to VT skiing, Stratton? Unless you have a small fortune you should go to a real mountain like Jay Peak or Mad River Glen. Jay has an o.k. park but the mountain is the best terrain you can ride on the East Coast. Awesome pow days. MRG has no park but awesome natural features and crazy terrain. Stratton usually has a pretty good park but tickets are like $78+ which is insane. Sugarloaf in Maine is an awesome all around mountain with a good park as well (generally). Its the only mountain in the East with lift service above tree line (snowfields are tasty). Sugarloaf has a really chill vibe and awesome groomers.
