ski movies have to change

i realized something after watchnig rfa today for the first time, its almost the same fucking movie as forward, you know what else, i bet the footage in focused is the exact same shit too, where im getting at is
WHY the fuck does someone have the same part in every fucking movie, film for one fuckign company and no more, it is so annoying when you waste 40$ on a movie you already own, except for a few parts which doesnt even make it worth it, and when most of the movie is either footage from another movie or competition footage, it doesn't say much about the movie,
also, when it says its featuring someone, but they only have 3 tricks in the whole movie, it also makes it really shitty, i wanted to see some footage in rfa of the people it said it has, not 3 clips, in super slow motion that the songs don't even go with the skiing, its jsut frustrating, and then almost all the footage again is usualyl either competition or photo shoots (parkasauras, superpark, etc...)
snowboard movies don't do that, they have a whole movie dedicated to comps/jams called 'gameshow' (mack dawg) and in the other vids its UNIQUE footage, not the same part in every movie, and its not super super slow, they have trick after trick, not trick, lifestyle shot, trick, lifestlye shot to waste time and try to make it seem like the part is much longer then it really is,

another example i can use is skateboarding, those vids are 20-30 minutes long of trick after trick, you get Stoked on skating then

there is one person who has done it right so far, and that is josh berman, this is completely my own opinion though, his movie is sick, and this year he toned down the competition footage, and more unique parts
its not 3 or 4 people for every song, people actually have FULL parts, like the ad promises, and also, its all his footage (i think) most of the shots are from road trips he took with the skiers and kickers and what not that he was shooting at (i think i don't know for sure) whereas rfa (im not positive) perhaps borrowed some of his footage?
also, his is just about non stop tricks in each persons segment, and the tricks are not soo slow that it almost makes it boring, he edits it at just the rigth speed to make it enjoyable and get you super stoked about skiing

things i would like to see improved for next year is people filming for one company, so all their best footage goes into one film, it makes the movie better and unique, not so much repeated footage, that is basically it , if eveyrone sticked to one company you would see much more of each skier in the movie (not 2 or 3 clips) and each movie would be better bcause you would have all their best footage from the whole year

oh ya, less footage from the same locations for each person, so less jam footage , etc.. and more working with the person one on one and making their segment unique and just the best skiing possible


i have not seen 1242 so i can't speak for that, i heard that the athletes filmed just for that movie (at least some of them) so im expecting big things still , so hopefully pbp hit it right with that movie,

maybe a suggestion would be for pbp to only release one movie next year instead of two, and let some of the atheletes like chrighton and steel , olenick, etc.. film for level 1 because i prefereed their parts in that movie anyywas...

or pbp could amke a competition movie such as 'gameshow'
