First of all, I searchbarred before making this. There have been a few threads about these skis, but none of them have any quality information. Please help me out if you actually have skied them or have a real knowledge of them. Not trying to be a dick, I'm just not looking for people saying yeah they're sick you should get them. I'm thinking about getting a pair for the upcoming season. I'm 5'11" and 155 pounds and I ski aggressively. I'll be using them for all-mountain. They're a symmetrical twin and I like skiing long skis, so I'm thinking about going with the 184 cm, but I'm not sure if the 178 cm would be a better fit. I've demoed a lot of 08/09 skis, but Nordica wasn't sending many Zeros around to demos, so I didn't get a chance to ski them. I'm just looking for reviews of how they ski and which length makes more sense for me. Again, please help me out if you've either skied them or know a lot about them.

But they look like a VERY sick ski, I ride Anthems and love them and they are similar due to being symmetrical, so in that sense they will be great for all mountain and park, and with a 104 waist they should be able to slay some pow.
I haven't ridden them so I dunno about how they are exactly but symmetrical skis are dope for sure.

they're new for 09, I seriously doubt anyone has skied these on NS that's not a pro or has a contact inside the industry. I've only heard good things from the riders, and for a more unbiased opinion, maybe you can find some people who have demoed them.

It's a Rory Bushfield ski...watch any one of his segments and you will see exactly what kind of skiing it's meant for: big takeoffs and switch powder landings. Also I hear they're relatively fun to just ride around on days with a couple inches of fresh. Seems like they would be a great ski for you.

i skied them over the summer, i loved them very poppy, and buttery. they are symetrical so they were so good switch, only had them for 1 day and didnt want to damage them so i didnt go too crazy, but overall i highly recommend them.

I've skied them, if you looked at all the threads, you will have seen that i've commented on all of them.
Anyways, the ski is sick, so fun in powder, cliffs, switch and everything, quite a soft ski, probally can be compared to the SFB's or Elizibeths. defiently get the 184 since your going to want to mount them center and they feel shorter when its center.

Well what else do you want to know about them? common skis I can compare too?

Two weeks after I placed my order for them, I found out there was very limited availability, and they were unavailable. So I ended up getting a pair of Suspects instead. Hopefully next season I'll be able to get my hands on a pair.

Very good all mountain ski for some one who is used to a jib ski, but wants to play in the powder more.  I would go with the bigger size and mount them center to 2cm behind center depending on what you want to do with the ski.  I would recomend them to most people on this site.

i would mount them center, seeing as they are a symmetrical ski. there isn't any other plausible place to mount them

for skiing forwards you want the ball of your foot over the center of the sidecut of the ski. In case of the Zero this is the middle of the ski. The down side of doing this is that your swing wieght is uneven. and you lose tail length for skiing switch.   so if your primarily going to ski them forward -2cm would be fine.

hey you learn something new every day. i never knew that you wanted the ball of your foot over the center. thanks for the advice. i never understood why people mounted behind the recommended mark besides getting the tip up.

i rode the lift in vail last season on a heavy pow day with some pro id never heard of, but he was riding zeroes...i asked him about them cause they looked unfamiliar, he said they were sick. i considered getting them but went with moment rubys instead

no problem. they were unavailable on proform, so i couldn't get them through my shop, but i'm planning on picking them up for the 09/10 season.
