Replying to So I have a dilemma....

I have been a fan of classic muscle cars for awhile now, and I just recently found an affordable one. This car is a 1987 Pontiac Firebird T-top, with a 305 V8, 20,000 miles on the engine, about 180,000 on the frame and tranny(its a stick). And it has all new interior. Found this little beast for about $3800. It also gets about 5 mpg more than my truck.
Now for the fun part, I drive a 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 ext cab. It has 4wd and i occaisonaly use it for hunting and generally just getting around in the winter. (Iowa winters suck ice wise.) I would sell this for about $5500 to get the Bird.

So I'm at a dilemma. Should I get the cheaper, more fuel economic, semi classic Firebird, or keep my gas hog truck that would get me around in the winter better?
