Alright, im pretty much debating between Mt Hood and Baker. I going to be traveling alot next year, but where do you think would be a better 'home base'? Portland area or Bellingham..?

Need relatively cheap housing, a chill area, chill people. down with herb.

Any discounts on tickets in the hood area, like a giant pass or something? options for baker, if conditions aren't right?
what are crowds like on weekends, does baker get packed? seems like it should cuz its sickk, but idk..
