well i used to snowboard but i thought skiing was better
i have founbd skiing is alot harder and i thinking that there are too many people in the game
i think i shoulod change to snowboarding because it is easier and more fun

uhh everything makes sense except the "way more ppl in the game". there are wayyy more snowboarders than freeskiers, especially gaper poser ZOMG shaun white ones.

but yea do what you like best just don't be a tool and its all good.

I will NEVER be going back to snowboarding (I'll admit to doing it when I was 13 'cause all the kids were doing it, but now I just think it's played out as shit, and too many people suck at it and just do it to be "cool"). Skiing just kicks the shit out of snowboarding in every way imaginable.

^ I just want to make sure I read this right. You started snowboarding because it was cool, but then switched because it got played and skiing became cool? Thats how your post reads, so you may want to check your wording.

Who cares what is harder or more saturated, do what is the most fun. For example, I love skating. It's hard as hell, I've been doing it half my life and I still suck, but it's also fun as hell and I land something every time I get on it. My point, go with your heart, the rest will fall into place.

So here's the thing, nobody really fucking cares.

If you're switching back, then obviously you care more about the image than you do the sport. Fine, go, you'll just be another sell out kid who buys burton stuff because its the "cool" thing to do.

While you're at it, pick up some Tony Hawk shirts. I'm sure he'll appreciate your business.

DO WHAT YOU WANT TO.
You should never let whats played or whats not cool into decisions relating to you having fun. If snowboarding is what you want to do then GO FOR IT. It's a sweet sport, I have tons of respect for all snowboarders.

Secondly...
Some of the posts in here are absolutely ridiculous and prove that skiing is starting to approach the fad point. People making fun of someone who wants to snowboard? Seriously, last year I didn't see that kind of shit, and Its sad that people are coming on here and disrespecting other sports. Maybe I'm wrong about these people being new to freeskiing and just doing it because they think it will be the next big thing, but what I see here is those people.

Finally however, do not let anyone on newschoolers influence you except for the people who tell you to do what is fun to you.

it doesn't seem like you are into either sport for the pure enjoyment and love for the ride, so you should probably save yourself some cash on equipment and lift tickets and just hang out at the lodge in your shiny new snowsuit with matching bandanna and tall t pretending you ride.  leave the actual riding to the rest of us who actually enjoy it.

I always thought snowboarding looked fun, so I picked it up last winter! I do it when I can't go skiing, and I just do Think Thank type things in my yard. It's awesome.
