that's a pretty cheap way but it will break, the ideal way is to get steel pipe and actually frabricate it and weld it all together, then just get some snow say from your local ice rink and you're set

concept u live near hood cool where? I live in eugene. Any way yeah go to your local metal shop and have em weld a rail for ya. That would work a lot better than pvc.

HOT GLUE RULES!!!!!!!!

Get a 20 foot 2x4 and build supports under it every 5 feet however high you want. Then get 2 2 inch pvc pipes that are 20 feet long. drill holes wider than a screw head starting 3 inches from the end and one every 18 inches. Now with the pipe countersunk drill the pipe to the 2x4 and you have a rail. Yes, the pipe will wear out or break but the pvc at most will set you back $15 and it takes minutes to mount on the wood.

go with PVC, get two 2 inch(in diameter) pipes, screw them to a 2*4, build a base, and go to town, for an inrun, i have that green carpet stuff and if you soap it up is works good too. The rail can be build in 1-2 hrs for like 30-50 bucks tops, maybe less. screw a welded rail, if the pvc breaks you can always replace it fairly easily.
