Basically I'm looking for some new music to listen to, because I'm bored to death with everything I'm already listening to, so reccommend the bands that you like and think are worthy of the honor of being listened to by me. Just so you know the kinda stuff I like, the bands I've been listening to for a while are Incubus, AFI, Cave-In, Queens of the Stone Age, System of a Down, Rx Bandits, Audiovent, and Cursive. Interest me, please.

For something a little different maybe check out The Expendables or b Foundation. Two groups from California that mix punk, reggae, surfer music to create some unique music. If you are into that kinda thing, you'll love these bands.

Switchfoot is pretty good, not bad for a Christian band either. It's hard to find their good stuff on Kazaa cause it usually gets edited and makes those beeps and scratches and shit.

i think rush is really underrated, and pavement is really good but i wouldnt really call them contemprary rock,

try Muse for contemporary styled rock if you don't know them yet, a great and unique band for sure. Also, Mew and Mindless Self Indulgence are good bands.
