dreams, why can you see the future sometimes?

why is it that you experience a deja vu between your dreams and reality sometimes. your dreams occasionally predict the future, not much but just little snippits of time, mere seconds, but its so vibrant isnt it? your dreams can be so precise at times. what are your theories on this? ill spare you mine for later cuz i dont wanna kill you with tons of reading. peace.

It's because you have a one track mind. If all you think about is boobies then you'll dream about boobies, then when you wake up and see boobies that you dreamed about you think it's a deja vu, but really you just need to stop thinking about boobies.

its all about the subconscious, if you dream that 'you want to eat ice cream', then during the day you will subconsciously want ice cream, therefore fulfilling that dream while creating a feeling of deja vu

i had a dream about one of the olsen twins. a tree fell on her and crushed her...that was the end of that dream. actually more happened...just the end of her in the dream....so if dreams come true......eeekkk...watch the news everyone...hopefully a twin does not die.

I heard a theory on this once:

Subconsciously you notice things all the time when you go through your day. Actually only 10% of what you see with your eyes, really gets your attention. The rest is registred be your subconsciousness.

So when you see something one day without noticing it, sometimes you dream about it during the night because your subconsciousness DID see it.

Then when you wake up in the morning and suddenly really notice this thing, you will think that you dreamt it BEFORE you saw it. Thereby having a deja vue.

Interesting eh?

i have this crazy theory, or maybe, just a theory, that time is not a line, its a loop, and weve all been here before, ive typed this before, everything has happened, there was no first cause in the universe, because it just has always been, who knows why we see things from the future in our dreams? i know i have had those crazy experiences, a lot of them, its madness

the lasts two posts fit my theories. BUT ive had it happen to me where i see things ive never seen before in my life. like for example. in ludlow vermont theres this sandwhich shop and they have their menu up on the wall on a big chalkboard. i had never seen this before in my life and when i walked in i was like 'holy shit, ive seen this entire menu before in one of my dreams.' i live in new york and it was the first time me being in the shop, it was crazy.
so therefore i think its you COLLECTIVE unconciousness. your brain collects all the stupud shit you see throughout the day. in your dreams its organized and through this organization you get predictions of what will happen in the future based on what you have experienced in the past. right? mabye? who knows...

That happens to me ALLLLLLL the time. It's friggin' crazy! I always know what's going to happen. Or like five seconds before things happen. It's crazy.

the future is predictable. i have a reocurring dream that i will die in military service...but for some reason that just romanticized my reasons for going

Last friday i had this dream where i was trapped behind this fence and all these people were doing a rail but i couldnt get to it. Two days later i was at delbrook park and a whole bunch of boarders set up the rail there (see vinnies segment in propaganda, long star set into the fence), but i was unable to do it because I was stranded and when i tried to call for a ride to grab my skis my cell died. So i sat there watching behind the fence.

when i was in 3rd grade, i dreamed my teacher drew a horse with polka dots, stripes, and lots of colors. the next day, she drew the fuckin horse! just how i saw it in my dreams. needless to say, i tweaked out and started wiggin out man. you guys dream in color?

I had a dream that I ran across a highway in my town. a cop car whipped around and gave me a jaywalking ticket for $2000, $500 for each lane I crossed. about a year later, I got $1100 in fines in the exact same spot where the dream took place. coincidence???
