so i got a pair and when i got them i didnt know shit about the park and they are to far back. i want to get new bindings and remount them about 2 thingys back from center. Ns do u think this will make the ski perform like shit since there is more holes in the ski? this is wat my dad thinks but i am hoping it wont matter but what do u think?
You should be just fine. If you mount a pair of skis 3 or more times....you are probably asking for trouble. When they remount, they put glue in the holes to keep out water and hammer in plastic plugs.
haha i've got the same situation 08 pubes mounted really far back and no park skis. just from skiing my friends dumonts and seeing how much more pop they had, i decided to keep the PEs mounted far back for slaying groomers and new englands powder, and then get a specific centermouted, softer park ski for park. but yea remounting them won't be a problem
While we're on the topic, would it be better to mount them at recommended core centre as per the diagram, or -2cm from actual centre (about 1 - 1.5cm of difference)? I have them at mid sole recommended at the moment, but it's way too far back and based on experience with my Fujatives, I enjoy skiing a centre (or close to) mount much more.
