oh okay. I'm in Husky Winter Sports, so we teach lessons up at summit central every weekend. Were easy to spot because we wear giant purple basketball jerseys
^and we're so glad you do. hear that everyone? stevens is the place to be, nobody go to snoqualmie anymore, its hella played. really, noone go. the more people that go to stevens, the higher theyll turn up the powder dial, so that means more freshies for everyone! plus it only rains at snoqualmie because its so much lower, and who likes rain? noone, thats who.
There definitely are more freshies at stevens because most of our old schoolers are terrible. Theres lots of older rippers at alpy who know all of the stashes... at stevens theyre like well we got in 3 runs, I guess its all gone~
I'm not going to lie, Krush has kinda chased me out of snoqualmie, with his whole anti skier attitude. If I do get a pass there this year it will just be for night skiing and alpental.
^i did that last year, very much worth it. i recommend getting off the mountain at least once a week though, otherwise you start getting weird. and so you can see a female, because theyre rare up there.
I'll be getting a pass there. It doesn't look as X-TREME as my old mountain Bridger Bowl, but at least I will finally be able to ride park. I'll be trying to get up friday, sat and sunday, unless we get slammed with projects at work. I have a friend from college that'll be living up there, so maybe even thursday nights.
If you get the Unlimited Alpental is included right? I saw that was pretty much the place to ski. One of my friends said the backcountry is pretty solid. Looks like some slick lines through there. I might have to hit it up with someone that knows it, I have issues getting cliffed when skiing areas I don't know. Charging and not knowing your line is bad news ... remember that.
I'll be waiting in line and usally need a partner if anyone is down to ride. Just make sure your beepin so a rescue is effective. I'm familiar after 10 years of the BC at Alpental. Does anyone need a partner for Stevens? I want to spend more time there this season, I heard the jumps are more legit than Central, I'm Sooo sick of workin hard to hit landings at central! But the pipe was nice most the time.
^ stevens jump line best in WA maybe all oregon, as far as size goes. Stevens pipe suckkks. Please PM if anyone knows how i can get a cheap night pass to snoqualmitin.
I live in Kent on Benson Rd up on the hill. If anyone is in the area and needs to car pool I have room for one, maybe two passengers, in my small car. But I'll be trying to get up there 2-3 days a week. It will probably just be the weekend days though by winter, I guess we're getting a few huge projects at work. So PM me if you're near, and down to share rides.
Oh do I remember that jump. Believe it or not, I overshot that beast by a pretty good length. Left an absolute bombhole of a body print. It was complete carnage. Lets just say I underestimated how fast I was going.
my god, that picture was taken on simply THE BEST park day last year
multiple switch cork 9s stomped by me, its not everyday that you can get a rush like that. Cause they just don't build em like that very often!
But seriously before that day I was having a really crummy season, I thought i'd lost it. That day helped me remember that there are some things you never forget :-)
