New rails

So what kind of new rails do you guys want this year. We dont have much money so I will most likely be making most everything myself. Everyone give me a list of like their top 5 and we will figure out what to build in order of importance. Thanks

Ill do my top 3 just so its easier...

1) A mellow Down-Flat-Down rail, (mellower than the dfd box)
2) A nice long flat shotgun rail, (around 30 feet or so)
3) A down to flat rail, (sort of like an urban style rail, but with a 20 foot down to like a 5 foot flat at the end)

you should use those black funnel things with the rings around them found at like construction sites and just set a couple of them up wherever (before the halfpipe etc.) maybe a rainbow box a little more mellow then the rail

let me say, that april last year, was so sick. there were tons of rails on thruway and brookside and i had a lot of fun. except i got nutted on the fdf and battleshp rails.. it hurt.

but the flat down rail after the c box was sooo fun. also the huge 40ft down was legitexcept for that 1 weld that ejected me like 10 times...

but id like what jake said for #2
also i think it would be sick to have a 20 ft up rail that will make s easy.. like take the 20ft urban style rail and point it up.
but does anyone else think that we're lacking boxes to get tech on?

all sound really good. i have a couple cool log jibs stashed away that will be nice. I also have that black stuff stashed. it is just some plastic culvert. i want to set up a cool skate park section somewhere. steep tranny to steep tranny with jib on them all. keep the ideas coming. oho yeah how did the 40' single barrell make its way to boreen from thruway. i went crazy looking for it for like a month. didnt find it till we mowed the grass. pretty hard work dragging that thing all the way. good work to whoever it was

what trail are we getting for the park this year and could you/we/us put in more jibs and please not set them up like fucktards seriously the dfd box was a pile of shit with a booter up to and the down rail has got to be FLAT up to not a wall of snow! thanks end rant

I like the idea of some cool skate section with a bunch of stalls and stuff.  I think jake hit it.  One featue i really wanna have is like a spine jump.  Its basically like a qp but less than vert with like a 5-10 foot table then the landing really steep, might be easy to have the wall ride and that on the same thing?  Just throwing some ideas out to ya keep up the work

wow thanks for the hissy fit dillon. I try to put both in that way but there was no snow where the down rail was and the dfd box is hard to make the mound right. it takes so much snow to and there is no pitch to the trail where we put it. we definately wanted them bot to be like that.

one of thoes slight up drop a half foot to slight down boxes would be really really fun i think...that or a butter pad (8x4ft sheet) set up like a booter gap to a barrel bonk could be cool.  Dont know though that could eat little kids alive

well the butter nut will not be coming back. some turd decided to put their leg through it. As for other stuff I did plan on building a butter box like alex is talking about hopefully we get some money and we can build some new things. I like the dfd rail idea. I would like it to be about 32' long made out of 2"x4" steel. same stuff as the battleship rail. as of righ tnow our budget has been cut by almost a million dollars so i think the crew and i are going to have to use some old scraps and recycle a couple rails to get some new stuff. Fine with me just going to take longer

2.mellow dfd rail
3. donkey kink rail
4. Flat down with a longer down.
5. metal culvert, no plastic  like 20

it wasnt to bad of a setup. More urban style would be better on the longer rails.

Maybe the dfd box with a jump in front and a gap, and have a dfd rail urban.

The fuit by the foot rail would be sweet urban or flat.  down rails are always when the rail sticks out of the takeoff. then you just pop from the side and lock on. A nice mellow take off so its much smoother.

props on getting new rails last year and this year. Every mountain should but alot dont.

gore= mad beat this year  i  still got a pass so i could hit whiteface, but mt snow mostly prolly
