sorry man but that's terrible. search minesweeper, some threads will pop up. My record for intermediate is like 37 seconds or something.

# Hold BOTH shift keys for 3 seconds.
# Release shift, and hover your mouse over the mine field.
# Look closely to find a very tiny white square on the top left of your desktop, it should be about 1 pixel in size. Not the minesweeper screen but your computer backround. A white dot means it's safe to click, and a black dot means that there is a mine.

yeah, it doesn't take that long to get really good though.  I went from someone who couldn't beat beginner to consistantly beating expert, cause I had a job as a telemarketer, and I'd just sit on the phone (headset) and play minesweeper for 8 hours straight.  It was the only thing to do, all of my co-workers got into it too.

Then we got sick of it, and moved to crossword puzzles.
