Nollies the new "thing"?

ive noticed it a lot in the past few weeks.  Everyone is doing it now, is it gonna be the next must do trick to be dope? kinda like pretzels were, and double flips

nope they arnt new. GOOD skiers have been doing them for awhile (tanner being one).

I would hardly say new, but its awesome, always awesome to see a new element get incorporated into the various aspects of the sport.

I like the idea of a nollie one off a drop and nollies in the city are always cool.

does it count as a nollie if you do it switch? I have never popped of my nose switch. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Tanner did one a while ago in the x games, but only a few people can do them well. Will Wesson is a big chicken fucker, but he can do them like no other.

Pep's nollie 180 over the stairs at PC in Session 1242 stands out as the first one I saw and liked. I think it (like that segment) stands the test of time still impresses me today.

He meant Pop Yer Bottlez i think. And there were no skiers that started nollies, it's a trick that has been around for a while in skateboarding and they were done way before the fake nollies that I've seen out of people these days. Actually Tanner's are legit.

Nollies are not "the new thing" but they are legit...butters are not going to be put on to rails....i think that would be unnecessary but nollies are just gona get thrown in there more and more cause you can only spin so much onto a rail, so you add a nollie to it and make it more interesting

Most of the time, skiers just dip their toes & noses after a lip and claim nollie status. That's not it, that's not really hard to do. You have to use your ski's forward flex to pop your nollie. You're rocking off your noses when you're nolliein'. Instead of popping off your tails like a normal ollie/j-hop.

I think the real ones are dope but the nose dips that are getting attention lately are cheese.

like 3 or 4 years ago when i was at ski camp rory bushfield had our whole group of girls trying to do them...it was fun! i do them all the time off rollers to practice popping and stuff. dont know how they look...but i have fun!
