It's just english.... it's your language. you've spoken it your entire life so it should be easy. you're going to be speaking it for the rest of your life so you might as well learn to speak it properly!

Actually, I think those commas are optional, because it makes sense with or without them.  Someone verify this, I'm beginning to doubt myself on this now.

I'm pretty sure you use a comma before 'for', 'and', 'nor', 'because', 'or', and 'so'.
