I'm 5'8", 170, and have a pair of 180 Liberty SBs amd 183 Surface Watch Lifes. I ride everywhere, slide rails, hit the pipe, like the powder, like the trees, but I go to college in Hartford, CT, if that gives you an idea of the kind of skiing i get to do (vs the kind of skiing I'd like to do). My last pair of skis were fischer addicts, but that titanal plate underfoot made it too heavy for just playing around.
I'm definitely keeping the Liberty 180s, but I'm not so sure if the Watch Lifes are the right length.
I want to mount the liberties as a pow/allmountain setup, and mount the watch lifes center and hope the swing weight won't fool with me, but I'm not so sure about the length and if the ski rides well center mounted.
I get in better shape throughout the winter, and should be close to 180 and cut, which is why I wouldn't mind keeping the longer Watch Lifes, but i am hesitant to mount them.
I'm short, but I'm not at all light, which makes the length thing kinda funky. i'm not even fat, i just am heavy, it's weird
Should I look for a better park ski?
btw, if anybody wants to trade for the watch lifes, let me kno, they're new and 183
