163 skis too long?

so my friends little brother needs some skis and $$$ is the biggest priority. i can get some 163 mad trix for him for $100, but the kid is like 4'10'' and going into 8th grade haha. he's only gonna grow, but will those be ridiculously long?

and where should he have them mounted? he'll be skiing probably 60% park, but i'd almost want to centermount them so they'll ski shorter. is that a bad idea? maybe -1?

center mount them and lil bit smaller would be better but he could probably handle 163's after awhile of riding them

 I am right around that height and ride 160s if he's a decent skier he should be fine and defiantly go close to center, but probably shouldn't center because of the amount he will be skiing out of the park

i have skis in these 3 sizes: 143, 148, and 158.
143:chronics, used, delaminated and taped at one tip, otherwise legit.
148:elan trx airtwist, piece of shit skis, decent condition.
158:rossi scratch pros, great condition after tuneup
