well that's pretty lame if you're giving up on skis that you already owned because of a shipping error. Call Windells and figure out what happened. I find it hard to believe that a shipping error means you'll never see your skis again.
And secondly, your thread is pretty useless unless you just want random suggestions based upon what people on NS like for ski/binding combos. A little info is required before a proper suggestion can be made.
How tall are you? How much do you weigh? How long have you been skiing? What types of skiing do you usually do? What do you want the skis you get this season to be able to perform best at?

get the tracking number, call up who ever the shipment went through (UPS, FedEX, etc, etc) and get the package back on schedule. talk to them tell them that it was supposed to be delivered to Detroit. They will work to make it right.

firstly you will be able to get the skis back, but if you want ski recommendations then you have to tell us about yourself (i.e height, weight, ability) and what you ski (e.g 70% park etc)..

You definitely got a check coming from UPS that's for sure. Shipping things isn't as primative as rolling the dice anymore and their tracking system will determine where they fucked up. It won't be as easy as them to say "oh sir, you're right, we're fucking dumbshits, how much were your skis" You will have to provide reciepts or credit card statements indicating how much you spent, but you definitely spent around $1500 I know for sure ;)
So many good skis out there this winter bro, the jesters are legit. I've always been a fan of Solly and their new side wall construction is no joke. Maybe see if you can demo some shit from a local shop this winter before you buy? If you go with Solly, check out the Dumonts and Suspects
