sled ski rack

so I bought a snowmobile (indy 340 for $300) basically something to bash around and get in the BC, which is soo sweet around here. Whats the best way to hold my skis on the machine? I was thinking like cliping them on the sides somehow and up under the running boards/hood. whatta ya think?

there's a few ways to do it.
Deffinitely get a bungee chord and strap it over your gass cap and attach it to your running boards, this gives you a place to put the tips of your skis and keep them in place so they don't flop around, then on the back you can either use more bungee chords or take old snowboard binding straps and bolt them on either side of the back and then you can just slip the tips into the front bungee and buckle them into the straps and they don't go anywhere.
