I have looked on google and tried a couple thing, i zapped my pram or whatever that is and i did'nt help.
My wireless used to be very good and i could go anywhere in my house and be perfectly fine, but now it will die in my room and i have to sit in the computer room so i can sit 6ft from the modem.
It sucks, i know its not the modem because my sisters laptop didnt have problems.
What can i do, im not sure if i want to take it to the apple store because i have a pirated fcp.

you might wanna try reseting ur wireless system. that works for me sometimes but i usually just turn off my airport and turn it back on and that fixes it most of the time

Check your IP adress in Network pref pane, and if it's the same as another computer that's why it may not work well (if 2 computers have the same internal IP adress such as 192.168.1.34, they're fucked)
Check on another wireless network with your macbook to see if it's the computer or the router also. If it's your computer, I'd suggest going to an apple store getting it fixed (maybe the airport extreme card?) or examined (if you're still on warranty, of course)
All times are Eastern (-5)
