im about a 145 pounds and 5'10
im probably gonna get some bents this year and im wondering what size would be better
169, 179?
they'll be used mostly for backcountry hits and jibs etc.

179. they measure long but ride shorter due to the rocker. youre too tall for the 169 if its being used in powder. gear talk.

ya man go 179. i ride 169 and im 2 inches shorter. plus your using for powder not park so id say def. go 179

Definitely go with the 179s. 169s would be way too small. They ski shorter than they measure because of the rocker, so the 169s are tiny..

im 5'6" and ski 171's park and 179's otherwise. deff go for the 179's

this ski should be ridden as big as possible. If you're an average skier ride the 179, if you're good rip the 189 centre and thank me later.

I'm 5'10", 165lbs. and I ride the 189 in the park and BC. Go as big of ski as you can because of the reverse camber.

i also have the same questoin. except im 5'6" 125-130LBS. and im probably going to be using them more in park then pow, since my mountain rarley gets pow, and for me to ski it i travel. i was thinkin 169. im not worried about tip dive at all, since im a small guy

im all for big skis. i will never ski anything under 110  underfoot but for a person that does get much pow and wants it mostly for park, even if travelling to powder meccas i think you could get a ski more suited for you???

well i live in montana. this ski is suited for me. when i get pow, i get pow. and these skis look super fun in park as well... itll be basically a everyother day ski. plus pow. i say mostly for park because my moutain doesnt get as much snow as the rest of the state, but atleast 1/3 the time i plan to go to other resorts.
