Replying to Hows my logic on this quiver?
Like the title says, the season is fast approaching and I'm getting ready to build my quiver. Quick background, I'm 6'5, bout 200 lbs (prolly around 185 by the season). I'm a former racer with a strong technical background, and spent all summer mountain and road biking. I feel like this is the most setup I've been for a season and am hoping to make some big strides. I ski east coast, about half of my days are in icy PA parks, a bunch are in new england, and I'm taking three weeklong trips out west (whistler, hood, telluride)
Now, i favor softer skis normally, I have anthems and love them. I work in a shop, and am a bit of an equipment whore, so here goes.
Line Sir Francis Bacon as my west ski. Its soft and fat, just how I like it. mounted with sth14s.
Nordica Zero as my all mountain ski. Replaces my anthems as a symmetrical ski, a bit stiffer, and a touch longer. I'm thinking perfect for new england, skiable in the park, but girthy enough for anything. Mounted with griffons
Volkl Wall as my park/pipe ski for PA. I love symmetrical skis, and i think the added length and stiffness will kill it in the pipe. mounted with mojo 15s.
Running Full Tilt Hot Doggers, and have some stiffer flex tongues to mix it up. Thanks for reading all that haha
