how come ben stein had so much money to give away in the first place?

yeah i know he wrote speeches for nixon and stuff.

id just rather think that his claim to fame is eyedrop commercials and being ferris buellers history teacher.

i actually met ben stein and he was really cool and down to earth.  my con law class was in DC for a supreme court hearing, and ben stein happend to be in staying in our same hotel.  we called the front desk, they of course couldnt verify anything. so we just told them that we were a constitutional law calss in town and it would great if he could just meet us for a couple of minutes.  20 minutes later he was down at our room knocking on the door.  we had a great discuson with us for about an hour then went on his way.
