Ft booter

im lookin at gettin some ft's for next season and the booter the cheapest and i was wonderin what peeps think of them and from the site it sounds like theyre real soft and sloppy so would they still hold their own on trails and mougles and trees.. (i live east coast so i ont need to worry bout pow handleage or anything)

soft ski on soft boot, maybe not a good idea. id go with the hot dogger if you can deal with the price go with the hot dogger, if not buy additional tongues

i want hotdoggers but i cant afford it but if i do happen to get the booters and theyre too flexy do you have to buy from the shop or can u get it off internet shops?

teh problem with that is the closest dealer (that i know of) is like 6-8 hrs away so i dont want to drive down there just to find out its not worth 400... and ive got some old raichels that fit good so i assume it'll fit my foot

im not positive but my FTs feel a little thinner than my Flexxons but it might be because i havent molded them yet or something. if they are too soft you can always get a stiffer tongue for like $40-60 depending on which tongue it is...

well u didnt understand what i meant so i'll assume others didnt either.. what i was trying to say if theyre a boot that isnt worth 400 then i dont want to drive all the way there to see if they if its a boot thats not worth buying but if it is worth buying then i will go and see if they fit and what size is best... and another question, if i do find the tongue is too soft then will i be able to put the flexxon tongue on the booter boot?

Call FT and ask them about the boot and how long the liner will hold up and tell them how much you weight and ask if the boot skis really soft outside of the park.  Soft ski has nothing to do with soft boot, your boots control their skis which is why boots=most important piece of skiing equipement.  If anything, spend money on boots and get a cheap ski setup.  And never buy a boot with out trying it on.

full tilt liners hold up great.... and if you find the boot too soft, just get some new tongues.  I skied all winter with a 4 flex tongue and it was fine.  what people don't understand about the full tilt is that it's VERY stiff side to side, which is what you need for most turning.  I rocked full tilts with anthems last winter too, and I found that the stiffer tongue helped more with really big butters, but they skied just fine, and were AMAZING in the park.  the booter is a great boot, and you can slowly upgrade parts after you wear them out, and get a great boot now to ride with.
