Print Screen on a Mac?

Got my mac last year, and need to use what is called the "print screen" button on a PC. What is it on a Mac (combo of keys) or is there a system "click to" please help.

if you want to print just the browser, on safari go to file-print, on firefox I'm pretty sure its the same thing, and if you want to print your whole screen, press command-shit-3. What that does is it takes a screenshot then automatically saves it on your desktop. from there you can open it with preview and print it.

I like print screen. Whenever I need a picture for a background from a photographers homepage and they're all like no no no you can't copy and paste. I'm like oh yeah? Print screen bitches. No offense to photographers. They is good at taking pictures.
