seems that the 2 dont agree much.
for example-
one of the most liked and complimented park skis is the line anthem. freeskier gave it a 'stoke' rating of 5.5
go with how you feel, but i trust ns much more.

Maybe they like the ski but weren't as stoked as they were a few years ago when the ski came out. Nothing has really changed except for the graphics

no dude people hated the anthems/invaders for the first 2 or so years...they're not one of the most loved at all. pretty mixed reviews, actually.
there are better all-around park skis out there, but a lot of people love the anthems anyways just because they're freakin soft and symmetrical, so fun to just play around with. I loved them at windells at least, but that's also because I'm one skinny mofo.

freeskier kind of tests skis specialties though, like the anthems were probably tested at keystone, so a fairly hardpacked park, whereas the anthem is designed to be more versatile. most versatile "does everything decent" type skis wont do well in magazine tests, at least from what ive seen.
