Binding Help

Ok, Im small, 5' 1" 100lbs  
I want to get the px12 jibs but my local shop seems to think that for a binding to release properly the din needs to be as close to the middle as possible.  this wud mean that on the jibs the ideal din would be an 8
however my din is currently set at a 6
my question is
is my shop right, and if so is a six close enough to the center

Bindings release the best when they're set in the middle, but there's a reason that you have the ability to change your dins. If you're prereleasing, crank up your din a little. If you can't rotate your foot out of your binding standing on the ground, your dins are probably too high. Use a little discretion, and don't set your dins to either end of the spectrum and you'll probably be alright.

In other words, 6 is fine.
