Bindings help (NOT MOUNTING just picking out bindings)

okay man, give us a bit more info like your height, weight, BSL (length of sole on your boot, it will be written on the side of the heel plate most likely)

But as a general fit most people binding the Look PX12/rossi axial2 120 does the job.

need more info...But if you want something cheaper than just go into your local shop, pick up some tyrolias(sp). They are pretty bombproof bindings, not the lightest but will get you through.

If youve got your own boots then obviously youre gonna get your bindings mounted to them therefore theyre gonna be a perfect setup. But if you dont, cause some bindings are different to adjust or are limited, then they might not be all that effective (this is cause youre boot sole length will be changin) as the boot wont fit all that well in the binding. I was ridin my brothers skis for a while this season and it didnt always go great. The release can be kinda unpredictable.
Also, if youre plannin on given them a bit of punishment then dont buy cheap. I raped 3 baseplates for crappy salomon bindings and clean took off a heel piece of a pair of markers in like 4 months this season.

yeah, it is generally worth the money to pay up for good bindings. I would stay away from Salomon though because I broke several baseplates, broke the heelpiece in half and smashed the brakes countless times between s810tis and s912s. At your weight though, they might not break as easily.

dont listen to these fools, get any of the tyrolia bindings, head,4frnt, and i think elan. They are absolutely bombproof all the way around....except for breaks....but u cant make unbreakable brakes....they got a twister heel to save ur knees and the head mojos have a 6-15 din range, id assume the deadbolts would have the same too. plus they arent boner binders so u wont get ass raped if u land backseat

Yeah I had the same problem. I got through 3 baseplates and 2 brakes in salomon bindings this season.
