Hotdogger vs booter

they both seem like really good boots and i am going to try them on before i buy them, but i was wondering what are the ups and downs for each boot

which one is lighter, i know the booter is more flexible, but i dont know which is lighter.

hotdogger has metal buckles (good) and a stiffer flex, theres also something diff about the footboard i think. the booter has an impossibly soft flex, and is lighter. id go with the hotdogger though.

good point, and thanks to the other post.

ill probably get the booter cuz it costs a lot less.

but if i can get some help from my parents and see if they want to help me pay for hotdoggers then ill get those.

Seriously scrimp save and beg every cent you can man, boots are something that you cannot afford to be a cheap ass on.
I mean it man, you will be so much happier with your purchase of the Hotdogger, the liner is far far superior, the footbed has a lot more spring, the buckles/cables are heavier duty and will all round handle deeper landings, more abuse and overall performance/comfort.

This is all assuming they fit your feet.

yah i thought about that all last night and decided youre right and thatt i really should get hotdoggers.

so thanks and plus karma to everyone who helped and i think i made my decision.

this is if they fit my feet though.  which i think they will because i have narrow ass feet.

great point. but its not like the booters are a piece of shit boot either.  It is still a a high quality boot so i wouldnt count them out. definatly try them on also.  who knows u might end up liking them even more.

Yeah I'm not hating on the booter at all so please understand that, cheers for poiinting it out man.If it were anther brand though i would support your comment full hog, but because we are talking about FT it is different. They all have the same molded shell last and because of the interchangable tongues you are best off to go with the best shell/liner combo and then alter the flex via the tongue.

The liner in the hotdogger is far superior to that of the Booter and should therefore be the main reason in your choice.

God to hear about your choice mr. thread creator. Hope it all works out for you. Remember to get them baked.

the thing is what fits your foot best. It isn't shoes where they will do. These you will be on a lot doing lots of things that can irritate your food much eaiser. Go to a bootfitter and get him to custom mold a good boot with your flex and specifics

Also keep in mind that the booter is lighter if your looking for a light flexible boot.

get the hot doggers, and if you find them too stiff, just get softer tongues..
