Who here has an idea of what the ultimate slopestyle/ski competition would be?
I mean, JOSS is a favorite of mine because I love jumps. Rails, not my thing. Can't ride them. No offense, i think it takes a certain skill (which I do not posess... yet) to ride rails but they are lacking a little creativity as of right now. Some people dig the rail jams, others the halfpipe... but that leaves out Big Mountain riding from the "mainstream" competitions.
I always thought it would be cool to see a competition that, all in one run, there is a technical section like cliffs and pillows, which merges into a small slopestyle, then like two big air jumps, ending with a halfpipe. This could all be possible you know... I foresee Tanner winning something like this but that's beside the point right now.
Am I asking a little too much out of this? I've done runs where I bomb down from the very top of the mountain and burn through the park in one smooth run, but it would be very cool to see the pros do something like this. It would be really cool to see who could provide the most variety on each section of the course.
Maybe I'm missing the boat and there's something like this already. Maybe most of you think this is pretty retarded because it's kinda like, but it's cool, we're on NS and I'm bound to get shit no matter what I post :)
Anyway, just hoping I spark something here or my attention can be directed appropriately.
Thanks for reading.
