ok so i have been entering lots of my work into contests online and locally. i have even won a few so i guess my work is pretty good. so i found a contest on photo.com. Yesterday (my brithday) i get an email from them saying i have made it into a semi final contest in the running for a $10,000 grand prize... awesome news to get on my birthday right!!..........FUCK NO! i was all excited and i called my girlfriend and told her the good news. she puts in photo.com in google. and the first result was "photo.com scam" many people have gotten the same email i have and you can buy the book for $80 and guess what you never get the book. so just fuck this place for making me pissed off on my birthday. so DO NOT enter on this website. THEY FUCKING SUCK

ahhhh classic, there are a bunch of these sites, and basically they all have the same scheme, make you think your special when your really not (although you photos might be amazing) and make you overpay for everything, theres lots of it on the interenet....theres a word for it but i foget at this moment, but yah its a classic scam, but at least you know about it...

that being said ive enter contests before but only on Ns and flickr because those sites both are reputable and have won a few differnt prizes from flickr which have worked out great, you just got to watch out

yeah i guess my shit aint too bad cause i have placed in alot of contests. even been published. but i was bored the other day and entered a buncha random ones and that was one of them and just pissed me off.
