hey i was just wondering how night skiing at brighton is. Is their park open at night? or some of it at least? also, is it worth getting the solbright pass or just buying the resort pass for each day. im going for a few days and want to hit up solitude too. thanks
Have you skied their park before? The whole park is open at night, and i think like one other run, idk.
but i wasnt that impressed, i went in december and they had sooo many jibs just sitting on the side of the runs rusting and the lips make everything x2 as challenging and some stuff is poorly maintained. I still had a good time but i guess i expected more
Brighton is quite beat. It is pretty fun on a pow day and the rock gardens are sick but their park is pretty terrible in my opinion. Some people love it though so I guess it's just personal preference.
Jibbing nocturnal style at Brighton is way fun to me. You could just get a night season pass or whatever. Even if the park is kinda beat its way fun at night. The jibs are fun and the jumps... well just don't expect too much out of yourself on those. Its sick though.
haha well its def a love it or hate it thing. I loved skiing at brighton when i was there. Maybe its cuz i grew up in NY and hitting lil rails with poop setups are funner for me then hitting things that are always perfect. Im def getting a brighton pass
its fun but you have to be in the mindset of just screwing around on some tiny jibs. there are always ruts in the jumps and landings like ive never seen before. its pretty badly maintained and usually they started closing features early so they can dig them out..which is also really dumb.
for sure your rail skills definitly get better, mostly because they don't build the lips up pussy style like park city but the jumps suck pretty bad, the landings are to small and they don't build the lips very well. But night riding is fun you can ski the whole park and its always empty, some of my best park days were night riding at brighton.
haha yea dude all night skiing in ny means is its that much icier n skied off by night - brighton night skiing is mad fun just get some beers and chronic n cruise w/ ur friends makes for a good time- plus if u hit up artic challenge or whatever that fastfood place is n get a combo u get 2 for 15 a piece night tickets cant beat ittt
It's definitely a love hate type of thing. If you know the place the pow days can be pretty epic. I just like the feel of the resort coming from a small hill. I can't stand huge places like PC for some reason.
