Spk footbeds

I have custom footbeds, I went to my shop today and tried on a bunch of boots, I am getting spks. Is there anything special about the footbeds so that I shouldn't use my custom ones?

if your getting the kaos there are shock absorbers under the heel, and the pros have shock absorbers under toe and heel, it is all preference i guess. I would say custom footbeds would probably be better, unless you really want the shock absorbers. Hope that helped

actually the shock absorbers arn't part of the footbeds, so the custom footbeds would be alot better, sorry about my first post

stick with the custom ones for sure. the aformentioned shock aborbing units are located beneath the liner itlsef, each one recessed into the shell of the boot itself.

take the footbeds with you when you get the boots and have the bootfitter check to see if your customs will work.  they are custom to your foot but also to your old boot  so might have to do some grinding or shimming at worst a new bed

When you get get custom foot beds, they are molded weighted or unweighted outside of the boot. Then they get trimmed to fit the size of the stock foot bed that they are replacing.

Take out the footbeds they have it them already, their just a piece of shit... Get your footbed like from Super feet or something, and put them in there. The SPKs have a huge shock absorber in the heel and maybe one in the toe...

yeah, that is what I have always done. I have footbeds from surefoot and I got them when they were sponsoring my race team back in like 02 and I get free footbeds whenever I want...and they fix boots for me.

in the rampages the entire length of the foot bed is a giant rubber pad about two inches thick. vs the spks little wedge peice thats just in the heel
