I love the 1080 moguls, but they fall apart so fast! I did the skibum thing in Winter Park last year and most of the people I talked to who were on the freestyle (mogul) team went through 3 or 4 pair last season alone.

My experience lives up to that as well....and if I put the bindings I want on the 1080's the warrenty will only last a year.

So I'm thinking I'm going to go with the Twisters. From what I understand the twisters are just the newer version of the Assult SUP's. My bro had the V9 Assults and I like the way they ski, just a little too long (194cm.)

The problem with the 1080 mogul is that youve got to be good to not break it. And I am really serious. Look on the world cup, they never break. The problem with that ski, is that if you ski to backseat or land to backward in mogul, they delam.

I think part of the reason mine fell apart was because I got them used. Granted they wern't skied on very much before, and I gave them a little beating in the park.

But that doesn't solve the fact that solomon doesn't make an axial pivot style binding, so if I bought a new pair of 1080's I'd only have a 1 year warrenty.
