Replying to Computer geeks read this
so in my closet I found that the back of my closet was not flush with the wall outside the closet. kind of hard to explain. but I went back there and found this sort of crawl space. and inside I found tons and tons of computer equipment that had been abandoned. and when I say tons, I mean I found 40 hard drive, 20 videocards, 15 modems, over 200 sticks of ram, cable cutters, cables, 7 whole computers, scsi cards, about a douzen mouse and keyboards, sound cards, and other such things. right now I can't movie, I am completely surounded by computer equipment I pulled out of my closet's secret crawl space.
I am a huge geek so I will play around with the stuff but unfortunatly this stuff is unuseable (other than to play around and bring back memories of the good old days)
the newest computer I found back there was a Sun Microsystems Darwin Ultra 10. which when it came out (1998) was one of the best workstations around
I have the highest end one they made. so here are the stats:
processor: 440 Mhz
memory: maximum is 1 GB and I think it has that. all 6 memory slots are filled
hard drives: two 9.1 gb hard drives
