How much will a set up mess up my skies?

So I cant grind at all, so I am about to build a drop in, and make a shotgun rail out of pvc. I have a pair of Scratch BC's I have used in the resort for two seasons know, but they still have life in them, and would like to keep using them in resort when I am not skiing my ON3P's.
so my question is, do need to get another pair of skies for using in my yard? How much does a jib in your yard mess up your skies.

I have much experience with skiing in the backyard. I have almost used my k2 fugitives 30 times this summer and my yard isn't the cleanest. When i mean clean, no rocks. My yard has sooo many rocks and I am lucky to land on something without a rock. And I really haven't hurt my skis really at all. I mean there are minor marks but nothing rediculous. If you are skiing on grass you will be 100 percent fine and shouldn't have any problems.
Like I said, unless their are nails in the ground you shouuld be fine

rail. no. Box ya. I just suck, and am hoping to get better this year. I havnt really done much park other then just straight airing kickers (doing like grabs or whatever) at the end of runs. Done a couple 3's on small jumps, but there not solid.
so ya hoping to improve/ learn park this year.

ok well you should be pretty good on boxes before you go to rails but backyard setups arent the best place to learn than, but your skis will be fine as long as theres no rocks

well I made a rail thingy with 3 pvc's next to another. I would rather fall in my yard then on the slopes.

as long as your not skiing on top of rocks then your skis will be fine. grass and shit doesnt do anything to your bases so dont worry about it

They will be fine. Park skis are preety much ment to handle all that shit. I skied down the road in mine getting dragged behind my friends car and preety much they were fine. A few scratches on the base but it didnt do any big damage so they will be fine for your purpose. My setup didnt do shit to my skis when I had my rails up.

if its in grass then you got nothing to worry about. in rocks, well try not to land on it to much or throw some carpet down

it all depends on the skis but i wouldnt risk it. just use some old skis

rust is your only real enemy, just wipe the skis down good after use
